Each state has a waiting period. If you are kept out of work beyond that period, you will be compensated at a rate which is determined by your state's guidelines. Please note: this only applies to compensable claims. For questions about compensability, please contact your claims adjuster.
We will only speak to your spouse if they have power of attorney, or if you send us written consent. If you withdraw consent thereafter, we will need this in writing as well.
If your claim is determined to be compensable, the amount paid is determined based on state, and is a percentage of your average wages. This amount varies on a case-by-case basis.
